My Dream Guy..

.

A Picture tells a thousand words. His name is Tomoya Nagase! As you might see in the photo, he's not ordinary guy. He so deliciously good looking. Muahahaha! As you might have guess, he a Japanese star. I fall in love with on screen him on 1 of his most remarkable dramas. Who needs Kimura Takuya when you have him? Haha!
Since we are into the topic of relationship…I won’t say I’m very experienced in a relationship. But I guess I have heard and seen friends failed relationship. Each time a relationship fails, one might think they cannot seem to think of anything /anywhere without the one. Because everything & Everywhere will just remind of You & the one special memories. Is it be fatal attraction or you are so used to the one being by your side?
I would agree on the part that I got used to the person always there for you. If the guy isn’t here for you during the courtship, probably you will get used to it faster after breaking up.
Being used to one around is just another step of whether you both can make it living together. Imagine waking up to a sleepy morning and know that there isn’t anyone who is going to brighten your day? Even a SMS on your well-being can mean so much.
Had a talk with a girlfriend quite sometime ago, you will tend to want to know what is going on with the guy because you are so used to him being around.
Going out is torturing, just a few months back everything / everywhere was with him.
See. Sometimes courtship is so lovely-dovey but the after effect is such a nightmare when we don’t see a blissful ending.

Tears will drown you like you never cried never. By then, you really wish your fairy god mother could give you a ON/OFF switch to stop all that dwelling. Next moment, you realise EQ cannot take it anymore.

I think I have said enough for today…(Also time to knock off!)

the Dumb Shoe Picking Incident...

Saturday Strait Times Paper, 26th March 2005
On the front cover of the papers was this article, “Man trying to retrieve shoe hit by train”
I only have 1 Word, Stupidity.
Can’t believe its sheer bad luck or just plain stupidity! I’m not being a racist here. The Malay guy was quite dumb. He actually went down the tracks to retrieve his shoe. Duh! It’s only a shoe? A sole-cover?
How much would it cost for you to get down the next stop or the very stop to get a pair of slippers?
The best part is he’s not even alone. He was with his wife!! And the wife even showed him the way to his death… “Hey darling there’s your shoe! And also your way to hell……” How sweet! (pointed to him where his shoe was!)
I really wonder how difficult is it for the wife to get off at that shoe and get him the cheapest slippers if he feels embarrassed about walking barefoot….
Oh! It’s faster to retrieve your shoes at the track? Had a thought, during poly years 1 of our lecturers were talking about our MRT System….
The lecturer was explaining how the MRT System works. The MRT system works with a third rail, where only when the train is coming, the electrical comes too. So there is actually no high voltage when there is no train. Seriously, I doubt the guy actually know that fact. It really shows how much brain cells one can use when you are barefoot.

People! Remember this.
1) When you alone, and your dumb shoe have just flew to the tracks, try asking for control station help. They have those clippers to help you retrieve stuff.
2) When you not alone, try asking or begging your partner whether she minds getting out of the station and getting you the cheapest slippers! A lousy white base, blue stripe slipper would only cost you $3.50. Even if you meet the most pirated seller! Who thinks you are a tourist and wants to sell you at the highest bid price.
3) Just dump your other pair of shoes onto the track and worship your shoes! Shoes comes in a pair! Hahaha..Just being lame.

Just to add on, the guy is stupid. Now his wife is without a husband. And financial burden just comes along. Although the wife is sad, I just have to say I’m sorry I’m blogging about your misery. But you made me think twice about playing with my shoes when I’m waiting for the train next time round.
The last time I heard about the MRT incident, about the boy being pushed by the crowd and somehow he was found dead on the train. I’m cant remember the exact incident. But that is one I called,” poor thing…”
For the Friday incident,” Stupid leh!”

A Bond to Break...

Just a few days ago, I came across my New Paper article which I personally feel I have grown out of from New paper articles. The article is more for people under the age of 20.

The article was about signing with Teaching for a Career.
Now Singapore is offering a Diploma, whereby after the Diploma, you continue with NIE for 1 Year. Upon Graduation, you would be a qualified teacher. (Correct me if I'm wrong in the procedure)
Apparently the "victim" didn’t make it through the entire course due to failing of modules.

My point of bring this up is, I didn’t chance the Papers. My supervisor & some old man in the office actually warn me not to sign any bonds. They were making a big fuss not to sign this and that before reading the Fine Prints. I only have One Word to describe them, Ignorance.

Heard of something called, " There is no free lunch?" No organization will give you a monthly salary and ask you to study and you fail the course, you can just hop away with the monthly salary? Fat Hope. I'm not trying to go against them or what, but sometimes older generation thinks they know everything. And they actually assume it's a good deal not to be missed.

To think in another perceptive, would you want your children to be taught by some teacher who cannot handle your children or hold the class well enough? I Doubt any Singaporean Parents would agree to that.

I have been really touchy lately about old people.
Here are the Number 1 Most ridiculous ideas of the older generation. Until now, I still think it’s your upbringing that makes your habits.
1) Some Mum actually thinks leaving the tap dripping into a pail is saving water. And she insists that the Water Meter would not run when it’s left like that. haha! Big Joke. You think PUB is stupid? Or you think our water system is not complicated enough to let you play that joke to you? Haha!

So much for the tap dripping issue.

I would say there is no free things / best deal / profitable deal in life. It’s how you look at it. By the way, I think the victim in the papers is not being careful about reading the small prints. Seriously, you jolly well know that once you fail or have not attended sufficient lessons/credits, there goes your career too.
Shall not comment more.

Another thing to Blog, A friend of mine (Currently living in a Condo in CCK) is complementing of moving out with his mum to a HDB. How brave is he. He’s just 2 years my senior. Financial burden will crash him at early age. Muahaha! (If you are reading this, haha..just joking. I Respect your courage and can understand your situation.)
1) The brother told him he (Brother) needed more space as the children are growing up.
à This is one ultimate hint of the day.
All the best for your financial planning.

Hey!Just to add on, your future wife would be a fortunate one. Haha! She doesn’t need to worry about not having a roof.
No housing burden is one big plus factor! Big catch! Someone please grab him!
Today is just another boring day…

Until next time when my thinking cap is on again..

Jason & Geraldine

For my Darling Geraldine...Haha!Now she's Jason! Promise won't snatch from him. Only occasionally!
haha!I'm feel shameful that I have taken close to 8 months to complete this.
1) The wedding gown is pure white with glitterly thread. Which means extra work.
2) I had to be extra careful not to stain the base color. Its a off blue cloth.

3) Lastly, I only manage to finish it and frame it in Dec 2004. 6 Months after she ROM.

4) That's my best achievement.

My advice to all my friends.. Muahaha.. Try giving me a lead time of about 2 years, I promise it will be ready before your ROM/ Wedding. Hey, That's about now. I should start preparing them first, and when the date is drawing near i shall just stitch respective names on it.
Brilliant Serene!

Ger Bubble

This very girlish pieces took me about 4months to complete. Haha! Check out the cheap framing, its only 3 Singapore Dollars! Way Cheap! Friend of mine went to malaysia and bargain it with a malay ah peh to get that bargain! That's the power of Bargaining!
For the record, this is the only piece I have completed and its hanging in my room.
You see, I shower my cross stitches to everyone more than I actually keep them.

Hahaha! Imagine Fat Serene trying to blow bubbles. Not me!If it's me, I won't be hanging around a Cat. Haha!

Desmond's Birthday

Saturday (12th March 2005)
A day where we celebrated Desmond, 23rd Birthday.
I must say our poly group has rubbery timing, we agreed to meet at 7pm, guess what? I reached at 8pm! Muahahha..I had to go fetch our darling nuaz queen and beng. Our Nuaz queen only woke up at 7pm, and she managed to catch the free ride down to orchard, how nice of me. Muahahha.. I was late :p
We settled our dinner at Phin's Steakhouse... Crowded. Because there were 11 of us, with scrae places, we waited for another half an hour. Can you imagine, Joanne was so hungry until she stood there and stressed the patrons there. Muahhaha.. Of course, we didn’t succeed in giving them the stress. Anyway, we realize its not the people who are eating slow, it’s the service that is bad.

The next paragraph will be dedicated for their "wonderful Service, *Reminder*, we paid 10% and we got quite disappointed service. The people serving are young, you cannot blame them for giving you the “not so good service” (Come on, you are only paid Peanuts for that few hours) So, Let’s push the blame on the Management. It’s Always the Management, if you cannot manage your staff well, your staff won’t put a good show to your party.
Firstly, we waited for our tables for 30minutes. Finally sat down, we already decided our orders. But the waitress was a little slow in taking orders, I won’t blame her since we are one Big group. Imagine taking order already took 15minutes.
2ndly, we waited for our food for almost an hour. Even those appetites came only 40minutes after our seats were heated up. Wait it finally came, our level of disappointment started to rise…
Minli order this Crispy Mushroom (It’s actually button mushroom with Batter), they ran out of Mushroom…and replace partially with fries. Interesting…
Joanne ordered this Buffalo wings, hahaha!I think “Do Re Mi” franchise can do a better wing. :P
I order this combo which consists of, fish, lamb, beef, chicken and fries.
Fish, the nicest thing on the plate
Lamb, the smelliest thing on the plate
Beef, the uncooked beef
Chicken, I think its rubber, Tough.
We had to get the chef to re-cook the beef, it’s as bloody as my monthly event. (Details will be spared)
Another part, the potato story. Suling’s Potato came boiled with a Leggie Root, without any Sour Cream or Butter. Just one solid Potato, just boiled to perfection.
Minli requested for the potato to be changed to fries but it never came….even after we ask for the bill.
We were 1 kind of troublesome patrons, asking for butter, sour cream, etc etc. Cannot make it leh!
Let’s see, our dinner took about 2 hours. I think the last time I had dinner that long was a 10 course dinner at a restaurant. Desmond & Xueling were a few bites away from finishing their dinner, and 60% of our food finally dish out.
Overall, it’s a roller coaster ride disappointment dinner.

After dinner, we had a plan! A flawless plan…an award winning plan! 10 eyes, 10 minds work together to bluff our Birthday boy, Desmond that we were all going home. We split to two different groups:-
1) Group 1 : Buying Cake
2) Group 2 : Drinks & Tibits
Our Mission : To Ambush Desmond at York Hotel (www.yorkhotel.com.sg).
Time Check : To arrive at hotel Room, 1503 at 11pm!
Ambush Starts!
I think our group is a little off key that day. Everyone was checking out how great the room was. My concern was whether they will come back before the ice cream cake melts. Muahaha..Its a Suite! It’s a Hotel Suite!
The couple came back! Doors were open! Cake was lit in front of desmond. The only (-ve Point) is, me not being dressed in a bunny suit (Haha!I was joking, I was holding the cake :p)I would say, Desmond came in the Room looking a little starry, he seems lost in the room.
Firstly, he got a shock of his life when the door opens without the key.2ndly, why is a fat ass (me) holding his birthday cake?3rdly, why are we still here?

The whole event was video-cam by Joanne. Our compere for the night too. Check out the video and you will realize you can hear the compere more than you hear the birthday boy. ( *Laugh out Loud*) Watching the video will make you feel how silly a bunch of 24s can stoop to.

Credits : Xueling, Lydia for being such a sport and a darling to desmond and giving him a surprise. And of course, bringing him around for ice cream so that we can ambush at the hotel room. Beng : For opening the door and hiding behind the door like a skinny monkey in desperate help.
Joanne : for making the video a comical one.The rest for making it a success.

We all make great actors & Actress...

I notice I always blog at this hour…Hahaha..1 more hour to knock off…

Looking Geeky...

Today I receive a message from a Secondary Friend... I must say he sure look different.
For a Moment I didn’t recognize him. I stare at the monitor and my mind was a whirl, sorting all similarity with forgotten people. Anyway, in short he just looks good. Then again, would you put your ugliest picture when you know everyone will be looking at your profile in friendster?
Back to the Point, considering on the fact that I a very low key profile person, regardless it’s Primary School/ Secondary School / Poly I only roam around close friends. I’m just being Anti Social! I’m surprised he manages to locate me. Just glad I have another friend in Friendster J

I had a discussion with another secondary friend, sometimes in your growing years you tend to follow the fashion blindly until you think you are way cool. But to older peers, you will be a freaking weirdo. Seriously, I can’t remember how I look when I was in Secondary. I would say, Geeky. Everyone with specs will look super duper geeky.

That friend of mine was purely trying to cheer me up.. so lame of us.

Him : you were low profile but you pretty ma! That’s why people will start sourcing for you.
Me : Really? I’m flattered by that sentence.
Him : Pretty that time, not now.
Me : Already flattered because wearing specs I was already pretty. Muahahha..
Him : Just to make you happy for the day, you WERE.
Me : Muahaha….

The sentence were rephrase to add more *punch* to it!

All comments are just casual comments. Nobody will think/ say they are pretty because you see yourself everyday that you know your flaws inside out. That’s why you scream when you have a huge pimple on your nose, and people will start singing the Christmas Song…”Something” the red nose reindeer….

Guess what? I actually have fans in my blog. For a moment somebody thought I was getting married, just because I mentioned “Mother in Law” in the previous blog. Hahaha..

Ok.Another Hour to knocking off…..

Back.....

Hi People, I went Bangkok and came Back. I didn’t inform the whole world because it’s not as if I'm going Europe or what. Flew off on Friday Morning and arrive at Bangkok International Airport at around Noon Time. I must say, the traffic condition has improved drastically. When little serene went there, the jam was crazy... Muahaha..(I was only 10 Year old!) Took Thai Airway... OMG! I love SIA leh! I wouldn’t die of boredness in the restricted air space. Somebody ask me why I keep sleeping in the plane... I must say, boredness will drive you to sweeter dreams? Come on, its only a two hour flight, food will be served shortly after you settle yourself in the plane. I only have about 1 hour to catch some sleep!

Finally reached Bangkok, check in to Aroma Hotel. Seriously, it doesn’t sound good but I must say it’s considered not bad. Even my mum thinks it quite good for 300+ (Flight + Accommodation package)
First Stop : Chatuchak Park Weekend Market : A famous Bangkok landmark where you can buy just about everything from clothing to potted plants - a paradise for browsers and bargain- hunters alike.

I love that place… it’s like a nicer and prettier place like Bugis street. But one thing for sure there is a lot a lot more variety in gadgets and clothes. Bought a Paper flower lightning. Really brighten my whole room. Brilliant decision!
Bought Beng this Vespa tee…..(he should be honoured, he’s the only one who got a present :p, Sorry guyz!) Just to add on, if I’m renovating my house in 2 months time, I will make a visit to that Market. There is so many deco stuff to get. That’s if my mother in law is someone who is nice and loves such things. Haha!
We check out of the Night market at around 12midnight. I was dead exhausted. Can you imagine we walk from evening time all the way to Midnight….WAh! I’m amazing by you, serene! Walking so much. (Expecting slimmer legs? Fat hope… Only aching Muscles)

Went to another Night Market, this market is a copy-cat of Bugis Street, or should I say Bugis street is a copy cat of it? Whatever it is. The whole market is flooded with imitation and more imitation. If you are looking for some LV or Gucci stuff, head there. Opps!I forgot the name of the Market. Haha! Just take it that it not some place for us!

Day 2 (Saturday)
Had breakfast at the hotel Café… not bad. The Usual English breakfast loh. Went to MBK, a shopping centre, I think it’s about 7 storeys high. Shopping again… I should feel excited but my legs are giving way. Just to cut it short, the day ended at around 2am…. Exhausted..

Day 3 (Sunday) Flight Back to Singapore.
The flight was at 330pm. But we had to set off to the Airport at 1pm due to the heavy traffic. But it was a Sunday, and traffic was pathetic… Reach airport really early…so boring. It’s like you see many things but you just cannot buy because, they are also available in Singapore? Well, finally we can board the plane at 3pm… clearance was so slow too… see! Now you know why Singapore Airport is world class? It’s fast in clearance & there’s so much shopping that you could miss your flight if there wasn’t somebody over the speaker saying… “Last call for SQ ***”…
Monday (7th March 2005)
I was on leave. Hee… I need the rest ok! Pure laziness…. Feels really good. Slept and slept and slept. Oh boy, I'm so sleepy now in office. As Usual.
